In Between by Jenny B. Jones

The Back Of The Book:

Katie Parker knows life isn't fair. After all, when your mom's in jail and your dad's a no-show,you figure things aren't going your way. But hey,she can deal. Then she finds out she's being sent to live with a foster family-in In Between,Texas.

What kind of town has a name like In Between? And what kind of family wants a kid like her? One thing's for certain: None of this will be good. Sure enough-thanks to some new "friends" and her non-Mom's crazed mother, Mad Maxine-life sails right past bad to stinking.

Then again, she's jusst a temporary kid, they'er just temporary parents, and she definitely doesn't have any ideas about making any of this permanent. God,on the other hand, may have other plans altogether.

My Thoughts: This is one of the best books I have ever read. Jenny B. Jones has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are in the story and you're Katie Parker.

If you're like me, you will understand what Katie Parker is going through. Wanting to fit in with a group of kids that are not known for being good kids, Katie tries to do anything to stay with that group. She ends up being the one that's left holding the bag.

If you have trouble reading like I do, this is a great book for you. The writing is so creative, I can picture myself as the character in the book, which makes it so much easier for me to read the story and get it.

Not many authors can write like that, for me, but Jenny B. Jones is one I can read, understand, imagine, and enjoy.

I want to read the rest of the books in this amazing series. I want to see what else happens to Katie Parker and where her life goes from here.

Till then, save my place for me!
